At Dómes Winery, we are committed to delivering our wines safely and efficiently, while complying with all applicable laws in Cyprus and the European Union. This Shipping Policy outlines where we ship, delivery timelines, legal restrictions, and what to do if issues arise with your order.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • Cyprus (Nationwide)
  • Coming soon: Selected countries within the European Union (EU)

Soon, we will ship to selected countries within the European Union. Please sign up to our newsletter for updates or contact us directly for specific questions and/or exceptions. 

For international deliveries outside the EU, or if your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us directly at info@domeswinery.com to confirm availability and rates.

2. Processing & Delivery Times

Order Processing:

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day.

Delivery Times:

  • Cyprus: 2–4 business days (local courier services)
  • EU Countries: 5–10 business days (tracked international courier services).

Please note that these are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as customs delays or peak periods

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on destination and order size.

Free or discounted shipping may be available for qualifying orders or during promotional campaigns. These offers will be clearly displayed at checkout.

4. Packaging & Handling

All wines are packed securely using certified packaging to prevent breakage. For large orders, we may split your items into multiple shipments for safety and compliance.

5. Age Restriction & Legal Compliance

In compliance with Cyprus and EU law:

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase wine from our website.
  • Couriers may request valid photo identification upon delivery.
  • If no eligible recipient is available, delivery may be refused or rescheduled.

6. VAT, Customs & Duties

Cyprus:
 All prices shown include 19% VAT where applicable.

EU Orders:

  • No customs duties apply within the EU.
  • Some local alcohol taxes or restrictions may apply depending on your country.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that wine shipments are permitted in your jurisdiction.
  • We are not liable for delays or additional fees imposed by customs or local authorities.

7. Delivery Issues

If your order is:

  • Delayed
  • Damaged in transit
  • Missing items

Please notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery by emailing info@domeswinery.com and include your order number and, if applicable, photos of the issue. We will offer a suitable resolution — including replacement, refund, or store credit — where appropriate.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of our product, we do not accept returns of wine unless:

  • The item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
  • You are eligible for a return under EU consumer rights (see below)

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details, including your right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Cyprus Law N.133(I)/2013.
